The Giants Toy Shop Ch6

          Amanda was put down on the desk next to the huge flying saucer like plate. She looked at the plate in a bit of a shock... This plate was huge, and it was made of glass, so it was even heavier than the plaster plates from her home. She looked up at Jerry with a raised eyebrow.
          "How and I supposed to eat from something I can hardly reach? Cant I have my own plate?"
          "I'm sorry, I don't have a plate for you just yet, I do have a glass though, here."
          Jerry handed her a tiny glass, just a bit bigger than her normal glasses, and a bit misshapen. She looked at hit holding it in both hands. "Whoever made this sucks at glass making... its lumpy in several places." She sighed holding it up to Jerry. "What is to drink?" She asked expecting him to take the glass for a drink. He just looked at her with a blank look wanting her to at least show SOME respect with a tiny little please.
          "Did I stutter? Can i have a drink!?" she shouted, in more so he would hear her rather than anger, but still rather rude.
          "Excuse me young miss, i believe a please is needed in order to get what you desire." Jerry rubbed his chin. 'Gosh this girl is a handful...' he thought to himself. He looked at Amanda and once again he was surprised at her look. She looked sad, and that made him feel bad, but this girl needed the discipline.
          "... Please may i have something to drink..." She looked up at him taking a breath as she stared up at him. She tried to stand her ground, but holding respect for someone who's thumb was thicker than her waistline, and she wasn't too skinny, is pretty hard.
          Jerry nodded. "Good, now here ill take your cup." he held out his thumb and forefinger to take her glass. As Amanda held out her glass she stared at the tree trunks before her. They were so thick and... well manly, it scared her. The fact those fingers could crush her head like a grape came to mind as he took her glass. She let go flinching back as he took it.
          "Something wrong Amanda?"  Jerry asked with little concern, he was thinking more on his to get the drink in her glass without spilling or getting her wet.
          "N-nothing... don't worry about it... S-so.. am i to eat off your plate?" Amanda stood up looking over the plate, the smell of garlic and other spices brushed her face, and it smelled wonderful. "W-wow..." she whispered trying to get onto the plate, her hunger filling her head and body.
          Jerry looked over at her as he tried to get the cup to the table spill free. He smiled a bit watching her struggle to get onto the plate, it was rather amusing. "Ill get your drink in a minute i guess." He put his hand behind her and helped her up onto the plate. "You can eat first and ill eat once your done, I'm sure you wont like to watch me eat."
          Amanda jumped a bit as she was raised up to the plate. "U-um.. thank you?" She said looking at him, once again bad thoughts filling her head, what if he forked her thinking she was the chicken and ate her!? she pat her chest to calm down. "Um.. yeah that would be appropriate i guess..."
          She looked at the food before her and couldn't help but let her mouth water. This was GIANT food, more flavor, more smell, and more food. It looked so good and smelled amazing, she never had giant food before. Her mother told her that bigger food meant bigger taste and all that jaz, she used to love hearing about it when her mother cooked. She slowly walked toward the food and reached out poking it.
          Jerry chuckled. "Don't worry its not hot, and its tender enough to just pull off a piece. Dig in, litterally." He smiled as he watched Amanda dig slowly at the food then speeding up without a word, it must have been really good.
