The Giants Toy Shop Ch9

          After Jerry showed his little niece around he set her down on the main desk. "So, tell me, what do you think of my little hobby?" He said smiling down at the amazed girl before him.
          "Its... Just wow! this kind of craftsmanship is pretty good, only pretty good. heh." Amanda said scratching her head looking around. "The shop isn't open is it? I don't wanna be here if other people come in..." She looked up at Jerry with a irritated mask set over a face of fear.
          "No,  we aren't going to for a bit. We open later on Sundays, so you have time to observe the place before I bring you back up to the apartment." He looked around his hand on his chin stroking his beard. "I have a Client job I have to finish. You can stay here and look at the place, there is are stairs leading off the desk. If you need me hollar, alrighty?" He smiled.
          Amanda was a bit distraught by his decision to leave her, but she nodded. "Alright I guess I can look around this place..." she looked around folding her arms showing she was irritated. Jerry just ignored it and took a chance with it.
"Alright I'll come back to check on you." He said leaving for his work room.
          Amanda was alone now in the shop, just the wood carvings as her company. Several dolls were nearby on the desk with her. She walked over to look at them. She could see how detailed they were, they were a bit bigger than her size. "What is he the hunchback of notre dame? These freaking figures are detailed as crap..." She sighed, being alone she could hear her words sounded harsh and just plain stupid. 'What a brat' she mocked herself as she thought. She has been calming herself so far, but she woke up about an hour ago, so she was still a bit tired.
          It was quiet, so quiet you could hear the wood shavings fall onto the floor. It was weird how it got so quiet in this place, it was in the city to, so it was rather strange indeed. 'Maybe the walls were sound proof to keep the noise of the saws from disturbing any of the neighbors.' Amanda thought... When was a time she was right though? She always acted like she was when she knew she wasn't, it made her feel better about herself.. in the worst way you could say.
          A door nearby slammed open. "Jerry!! We have another damn job to do! Where are you?"
          Amanda felt like lightning of ice just shot right down her spine and through her whole body, she froze right where she stood... IT WAS HIM!!! That giant Jerry told her about! She did not think he would come out at all, she kind of forgot about him. She stood there with the dolls not moving an inch, she just stared up at the giant, her face filling with a crimson color.
          He walked over to the by the table where she stood, he was looking around. "What is he doing... he already finished his client job..." he said with a pouty grimace.
Amanda couldn't move and she was scared to death, all she could do was stare at him. She quickly observed him. His hair was a light brown color in a round cut that waved out at the ends wildly. He had a muscular build, though not overly bulky. He looked like he works out, he was quite fit. He wore a red T-shirt with jeans, covered by a blue work apron, just like Jerry's. All of these thoughts and observations were made in only 15 seconds. It all lead up to his deep green eyes.. THAT WERE STARING RIGHT AT HER! She still couldn't move she just stared, not even shaking.
          "What the? Is this one of his new carvings? Its really good, damn." He said suddenly grabbing her.
          Amanda was finally able to move, it was like she was set on fire. She screamed loudly calling for her uncle. "JERRY!!!" She started struggling.
          The giant gasped holding her still. "W-whoa! Im so sorry!!" he shouted blushing.
          Jerry came running in. "Amanda!? Is someone trying to break-- huh?" He looked at the two, both frozen looking at him. "What? Oh, Adrian i see you met my niece." Jerry smiled.
          Amanda shouted once again. "TELL HIM TO LET ME GO!!! LET ME GO A**HOLE!!"
The giant, Adrian, grimaced and growled when she called him that. "Hey!! Its not like I'm freaking hurting you! What is wrong with you! Haven't you been held by a giant many times before!!"
          "NO!! LET ME GO STUPID!!" Amanda screamed and did whatever she could, soon biting right onto his finger.
Adrian clenched his fist around her holding tighter. "I AIN'T STUPID!! YOU LITTLE BRAT!! CALM DOWN!!" He snarled.
          Amanda gasped when his fist tightened, she finally showed her utter fear. She looked up at him with wide shimmering eyes. She was about to cry.
          Jerry grimaced and said in a deep stern voice of anger. "Let her go right now Adrian, i swear to god..." Jerry walked over holding out his hand to Adrian. He glared him right in the eye shocking Adrian a bit. He was pretty pissed, and Adrian was in for it, he might even be fired!
          "I-i-im sorry sir..." Adrian looked down at Amanda in his fist, he loosened it as She looked down. He suddenly blushed seeing the strap of Amanda's dress fall down her shoulder. "G-gah! here take her!!" he quickly put Amanda in Jerry's hand. He was all red and quite embarrassed from this event. "I-im going to the break room..." he looked down his face still a bit shocked as  he stiffly walked away.
          "Amanda are you alright dear? Im so sorry, i knew i should have stayed here with you. God im so stupid, i should have thought this through." Jerry said holding Amanda to his chest.
          "Im fine... just please... get me back upstairs... to my little house..." Amanda whispered leaning against his chest.
          "Alright Amanda... I-im sorry still..." With that he walked to the door and up the stairs to his apartment. Amanda shaking against his chest the whole way.
